STAYING UP-TO-DATE


Annual regulatory lessons are mandatory for all employees and assigned at the beginning of the year. These lessons are crucial to ensure the University of Utah holds the safety of our patients and employees to the highest possible standards and are compliant with CMS, HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory services. They are also important for the University’s continuing accreditation. Training courses are assigned according to your role.

ANNUAL COMPLIANCE FAQ's


  • Anyone with payroll reporter security can view the Annual Compliance data on HRIL. For instructions on how to use HRIL, please click here.

    Direct supervisors in Health Academics can also view reports in Bridge.

CAMPUS SPECIFIC ANNUAL COMPLIANCE


  • Firearms at the University of Utah, Respectful Culture at the University (Abusive Conduct), and Non-Discrimination Policy at the University of Utah.

UUHA SPECIFIC ANNUAL COMPLIANCE


  • Yes. If the student is an employee of the University of Utah and working in a role where Health Annuals are assigned, they need to take the required trainings within the campus or hospital learning management systems. A certificate can be printed off for any classes requiring these annuals as coursework. Because the content of assigned Health Annuals is carefully curated to meet University of Utah accreditation standards, other trainings may not be substituted.
